Yoga Training
Charlotte, NC

"The asana practice is extremely powerful and unique in design. In addition to improved flexibility, circulation, muscular strength and increased energy, and detoxification of the organs, each pose unblocks life force energy (prana) pathways in your body, reprograms your cellular DNA and connects us to our spiritual origin."   --Dashama Konah Gordon

Yoga Training: The Mind-Body Connection

I'm Lisa Moore, a certified yoga therapist (C-IAYT), Ayurvedic wellness practitioner (AWP) and yoga teacher (E-RYT 500) trained in Subtle® Yoga - a therapeutic system.

I help people enhance their mind-body connection, learn to self-regulate their nervous systems and emotions, reduce pain patterns and improve flexibility and mobility.

Every teacher begins as a dedicated student.

As your practice deepens, you discover yoga's transformative power – not just in the physical body, but in mind, spirit, and community. This calling to share yoga's wisdom with others is what we call "seva," or service through teaching.

Mythical Healings offers several types of yoga training.

Our next training class begins in May 2025.

The course provides 200 hours of a Yoga Teacher Training program, preparing students for certification through the Yoga Alliance. The instructor, Lisa Moore, has led 25 yoga teacher trainings and offers a comprehensive curriculum that blends psychology, ayurvedic wisdom, yoga therapy, functional movement and safe sequencing.

About Your Guide

Lisa Moore is a recognized yoga therapist, yoga teacher trainer, Ayurveda wellness practitioner, energy healer, and shamanic practitioner who has been involved in the metaphysical world for 20 years. She has been blessed to have tutelage from some renowned teachers and mentors and has synergistically crafted her own blend of holistic therapies.

"I have had the honor of working with hundreds of individuals with a wide array of physical and mental health challenges. There's been one common underlying issue that appears to be at the root of the disease my clients were experiencing - and that is an imbalance in the mind from chronic negative mental states.

I am speaking of things like the false stories, or myths, that we continually tell ourselves, unprocessed traumas and emotions, and operating from behavioral patterns that may have protected us at one time, but no longer serve us.

In yoga, it is believed that the mind controls that body, and I have seen that to be true in almost every case of illness. When thought patterns were corrected and unprocessed emotions released, the body was more able to return to homeostasis, and immunity and wellbeing were enhanced."
